BackerKit surveys (yay!) and Shipping Delays (booooooo)

Hi friends!
The good news: we’ll be sending out surveys via BackerKit today to collect your shipping information, so look out from an email subject starting with “Response Needed”. When filling out the survey you’ll have a chance to buy more copies of the book (🎁 ?), custom art by nina 🎨, or some sweet stickers! 🌈
We’ll also be offering in-person pickup in the Bay Area once the books arrive, so definitely consider that option if you live in or plan on visiting the Bay — we’d love to see your faces. 😍 (“Local Pickup” is available under the Country option on the first page.)
The bad news: our printer has informed us that the padding they put on our arrival estimate was not enough, and they are not sure when the books will get off the boat. 🚢 😩📕📙😩 🌊They say that the average delay is 2-3 weeks (which would put us shipping them to you in June), but that they are also seeing some boats & containers take even longer.
Please feel free to express your feelings in the comments and we will confirm that your feelings are, in fact, valid!! We're pretty disappointed about the ambiguity of when the books will arrive, but we're hopefully we'll fall in the 2-3 week delay window 🤞🏼. In the meantime, look out for that survey!
